International College – http://www.internationalcollege.edu A local college offering unique courses to the adult population of Southwest Florida.  Both their real and virtual libraries are worth a look.
Naples FreeNet – http://www.naples.net One of the largest community networks in North America. It has more 13,000 pages of local Southwest Florida information in areas such as Government, Education, Entertainment, Clubs and Associations, etc.

Computers

Barrys Clip Art  - http://www.barrysclipart.com/ A great place to go if you are looking for just about any type of clip art to use in a document. Also has links to hundreds of other sources for clip art. And it’s free.
Cybersitter - http://www.cybersitter.com/ CYBERsitter provides over 30 categories of filtering making it the most complete Internet filter available. Filters are updated automatically, and there are no subscription charges. A sophisticated "content recognition" system recognizes and blocks new objectionable web sites even before we know about them. CYBERsitter allows parents to override blocked sites, add their own sites to block, specify allowable times to access the Internet, and maintains a detailed log of all Internet activity and violations. It will even send a daily report to parents by e-mail. 
Fotosearch - http://www.fotosearch.com/FotoSearch Stock Photography is unique in that it allows your users to search from more than fifty quality stock graphics vendors at one site! There are over 700,000 images available, including photos, clipart pictures, royalty-free illustrations, royalty free vector maps, and background clip art imagery. Most of the clip art is Royalty Free, and there are no pop-up windows or advertising.
Google Image Search - http://images.google.com/ Looking for photographs to use that you can’t get yourself. Google has this special collection of thousands of photographs that are free for the download.
Seti - http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ This is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data. And the program makes for a cool screen saver.
Shields Up - https://grc.com/default.htm If you have high speed access you must go here to check on the security level of you computer. This site will run test on your computer and let you know just how safe you computer is from potential hackers.
Web Shots – Photos - http://webshots.com/homepage.html Another wonderful source for free photographs. Almost any subject you can think of is covered.

Free Software

Adobe Acrobat Reader – http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html So many documents are created in Acrobat to facilitate downloading and printing. For example all but a few IRS forms can be downloaded for use if you have this plug-in. And you will find many other uses for this program. Make sure that it is on your computer. And it too is free.

Strouds Free Software - http://cws.internet.com/ A great place to obtain free shareware and Internet Software. A standard used by surfers for years. You should mark this one as a bookmark if you like to have the latest software.

US Patent and Trademark Office - http://www.uspto.gov/   Searchable database of U.S. patents. Capability to order copies of patents and trademarks on-line.

Great graphs of the market delayed 20 minutes and links to over 4,000 public company web-sites. US Securities and Exchange Commission - http://www.sec.gov/ After you have seen the investment sites, you might need to see the U.S. Investor's Advocate site. A very complete site with links to EDGAR database, enforcement and assistance sections. The best searchable in real-time EDGAR site is the 10-K Wizard which allows full-text searching back to 1994.
Small Business Administration - http://www.sba.gov/ Frequently asked questions page where there is a listing of the 31 most frequently asked business questions and authoritative responses. Hotlist of Links  of nearly 3,000 business resources, including web-based resource topics such as international trade, associations, Y2K, legal information and non-profits. The list is key word searchable.

Big Foot Find People - http://www.bigfoot.com/ A huge searchable database of e-mail directories, white pages and personal and corporate web pages. Is multi-lingual and has a European e-mail and phone directory link.

Rotten Tomatoes – http://www.rottentomatoes.com A compilation of over 50 reviews by critics on movies. It rates the movies by the overall consensus of all movie reviewers. A fascinating site if you are a movies buff.
